Two with the a7r and Mamiya bellows, first with the S-Planar 135, then the Planar 80. Both are full rotational panos cropped down within the image circle. The resulting files are silly-huge. It’s perfect for its intended purpose, but for this type of play, it’s fun but overkill, so I think I’m going back to the a7 for all use in the field. Shutter vibration is an issue with this rig. Fortunately for macros, I’m typically well bellow 1/40.
Excellent images on the last few pages! Been out of town for the last 3 days, and hope to post several shots tonight after work....BUT...
I installed a soft release button on my A7( don't remember which at the moment), and it worked fantastic! Until in picked my camera up at while at the lake yesterday, and the strap caught the soft shutter button, and pulled it right off!!! And I'm talking about it actually broke the shutter button below the original button, too.
Anyone deal with Sony repairs? I'm going to have to send it in...problem is, we leave for Hawaii in less than a month!!
Any help from members would be greatly appreciated!
