At Trexler Nature Preserve, Schnecksville, PA.
This female American Kestrel posed for me and clean both of her claws at the end of the day when the sun was low, casting warm lights... Please note that I used two camera/lens setups since I anticipated the bird to fly off after a while. The long FL of the first setup would be harder to track this fast flying bird. Plus, the A9 II used in the second setup is better for tracking. BTW, there is also a noticeable difference in the bokeh rendition.
More bald eagles just outside my door. Shooting this guy through the trees on a cloudy day. Amazing that the camera can obtain sharp focus on the bird.
