Lovely ones Peter - I especially like the first one and second is atmospheric - I was there on the 8th too !! late afternoon - looks like you had better light than I did. and I didnt have time to get out on the levels. I was meeting my eldest in Wells the next day for his birthday.

Beautiful frosty sets Peire!
Fantastic conditions for ice-skating this weekend and we were happy to find a lake with some sunshine. It's difficult to find places where the sun reaches this time of year. As you can see it barely makes it above the mountains even in the middle of the day.

thank you very much dear friend. the city is really worth seeing. we feel very comfortable there. will go back if the situation allows. not because of the Cinque Terre, because of the city and the great atmosphere.
It is that time of year again when for a couple of months the Mexican Brown Pelicans put on their breeding colors and nest in our local ocean bluffs.
I was out walking yesterday around sunset with my a7RIII and Sigma 105mm f/2.8 macro. Not really a wildlife kind of lens, but I took this portrait of one of the Pelicans. The sun had just dropped below the horizon so light levels were already pretty low when I shot this. ISO was pretty high, but it provided a nice soft box like light for the image.
Hooe Lake (not actually a lake) in Plymouth. An inlet of the River Plym formerly the site of quarries and other industrial sites and now surrounded by modern suburban housing but still the place where old fishing vessels go to die - needless to say it's a local photographers' favourite.
