Helena: Your "magic touch" look is always easy to spot, when you post, even without looking at your name tag. However, I was briefly confused, when I saw the series on the previous page, thinking you would have snow by now.

One of the situations when using 1200mm could only get you an environmental capture. The yellow orangey areas are some dry grass of the marsh that was still lit by the very low sun. The dead tree where the owl perched is in the shade already. The sun disappeared behind the hill already there. There was no need for that high shutter speed of course but I had a brain fart and forgot to change that. Oh, well . Cross-posted somewhere else...
