My first alpine waterfall from a recent hike. I probably spent 2 hours at this spot working different compositions. This one seemed to work for me because of the zip zag pattern of the water leading your eye to the main waterfall.
3 shot focus stack, Batis 18mm
No CPL because I dropped mine shooting the cascade further downstream. It was swiftly washed away by the fast moving water.
Looking at Farmers Fields.
Tripod mounted FE 100-400mm GM set to 177mm and A7rIII with Singh-Ray Color Combo Polarizer Filter (Polarizer with Color Intensifier); silent shutter.
ISO 100, f16, 1/6 second.
Exposure corrected +0.10 Stops.

Brett, Ecuador and/or Costa Rica are within a fairly easy reach from our location although not during the pandemic but under normal circumstances, of course. In terms of bird photography either one or both should be on the list to visit. After the dust related to the Covid-19 has settled, please contact me if you are interested in that kind of trip.
I searched for a moose in this area but there were none. Still, it was quite a pretty view. I had been looking for a stream leading up to a mountain and I found this.
