Looks like a nice neighborhood, Jim. The sunstar with the ZE 28 is quite neat too.
I guess plenty of people would not manage to get a single sharp shot out of that series, Joshua. You mentioned to nail those perfectly. Great composition, colors and sharpness.
Neat reflections, Tim and Rich.
Never ceases to amaze me how you manage to come up with the same painterly look in your images, no matter which lens you use, Helena. Very nice work, as

Thank you very much, Chris! I got lucky from time to time...

That’s an awesome and unique location to catch the sunrise just above the waterfall and you captured it well, Chris!

To find a composition among the chaos of the forest is a challenge. I figured this one had potential so I captured it. I like the way the taller aspen trees on the right catch the light on their trunks. A young aspen is proudly displaying its bold color.

My older brothers are great photographers, and I was their darkroom assistant back when we were kids. I remember we played around with creating pictures-in-pictures, and pictures-of-pictures, and this morning when I spotted this impromptu stone sculpture by the river near my house, it reminded me of that.

Another from Shanghai (I’ve been living here the past 13 years) this is of the Bund but from a few streets away by the boat yard, this was also the night before the huge light show that went off tonight, they were practicing the lights and beams etc

Really fun night of shots and this being my favorite
Seems FM limits quite a lot my other shots are on my IG MarkTheMutant.

Planning to do a morning shoot soon.

This morning I went to Washington DC to take pictures of the full moon set behind the Lincoln Memorial. After the photographing the moon set, the sky didn't look promising at all so I packed up and was going back to my car, then I said to myself, I drove 40 minutes to get here, what's another 15 minutes? Lo and behold, The clouds came out from nowhere and turned pink. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful sunrise.

A7RIV, Sony 100-400, Sigma 14-24 and CV 21 f1.4 (for the sunstar).

Great images! I had that lens until the last year or so when I sold it. Absolutely great photos, as was my Leica R 60/2.8, sold around the same time. Terrific sharpness with the Nikon, and terrific color with the Leica.

A few more wide open shots with the Canon EF 35/1.4L.

Looks like this will be a main wedding lens, along with EF 24-70/2.8L II. Also bringing the RF 24-105/4L IS, and probably the EF 50/1.2L. I'm looking to shoot a7R4 and Canon R bodies, mostly the R, since I don't really need 61MP (but it's soooo good!).

Thank you. I'm liking it as well. It's a strong all-arounder without giving up a lot at the macro end. I'm new to the AF-D lenses, but this and the 35/2 are giving me the exploration itch. The 300/4's next.
