A bit later in the morning I arrived at this vantage point overlooking these two alpine lakes. My previous sunrise shot was take down the trail facing that first lake in the distance. The sky was still hazy so my editing preference for this image was to keep things airy and light. My color grading also leaned toward more cyan to complement the warm tones in the mountains and foliage.

Near the top of the Trexler Nature Preserve, Schnecksville, PA.
The carrière Miron in Montréal used to be a quarry, then the city dump, and is now being transformed into a not-so-central Central Park called Parc Frédéric-Back (named after the artist who created the gorgeous and moving animated film The Man Who Planted Trees). The lunar module-like things you see in the second photo below are landfill methane capture pods. I took these this morning, shot on a circa 1971 Minolta Rokkor 35mm lens on A7iii.
