Thank you, Dan! This is Lake Elkhorn in Columbia, Maryland, about 5 minutes drive from my house. I take my dog there for walk very early in the morning a couple times a week. It's beautiful in fall. I spot great blue herons there quite often, sometimes beautiful sunrise as well.
The Church of St Martin at Cwmyoy near Abergavenny was built in the 1200's on a hillside composed of glacial debris left after a big post ice age landslip. Subsequent seepage and settlement have tilted the tower and chancel in different directions. The whole building is twisted along its east-west axis. The tower and walls have since been braced with substantial stone buttresses.
First 2 with A7RIII and Canon 17mm TSE - first one a stitch of 2 images as space was tight.

This was captured 2 days ago, last Friday - this is one of the last images of another mid-air food transfer after the female white-tailed kite grabbed the food from the male. They started flying separately and I tracked this female, carrying the mouse as it flew closer to my position. The first one is almost uncropped and the second one is a crop from the first, showing plenty of feather and yes, also mouse details...
Who says the A7r IV is not designed for wildlife or even worse, for birds-in-flight (BIF) ?
This was the best view of the twin alpine lakes up this steep path which leads to the upper lake. I was surprised to see wildflowers still around so late in the season.

Looking at Purple Flowers (I believe these are Vetch) and a wooden fence. Raindrops are visible on the flowers.

Oh this is a winner(#2) Douglas!! Just beautiful! I have seen many views of DC from the East and this includes most, if not all, the iconic monuments and the sunrise is just icing on the cake!!
Now #1 is also wonderful! The city awakes! The long lone gray cloud really lends to the majestic height of the WM and Lincoln Memorial's impressiveness!

Thanks Dan, it truly is a beautiful bridge and somewhat of a hidden gem being off the battlefield. The brush wasn't mowed this trip, so it was a little bit of a challenge getting close to the water. There's that drop off that's hard to see, lucky I didn't end up in the drink!
