I don't shoot too many panos but here is one comprised of 7 vertical shots. This is a third lake nestled at the very top of this Colorado mountain. There is a longer, more gradual route to reach this spot but I went straight up which pretty much wiped me out. Those boulders were huge. Not the best light but the lake was pretty. I think an overnight stay at the twin lakes a few hundred feet below would be a good idea. That would give me time to get up to this spot and shoot sunrise and catch the sunlight on that peak.

Thank you Henryk. That is very nice.I think my pictures is me,my camera and lenses together.

As for 24-105/4 I took it out yesterday for the first time.It is pleasingly sharp throughout the range and virtually all apertures. The only thing lacking is what I call "the prime like quality" i,e, combination of sharpness, contrast and colour rendition, which Sigma 24-70/2.8 mostly has.Maybe I'll be able to achieve similar results one day with the 24-105 after some PP,but it is not yet clear.

I like everything else about that excellent universal zoom though (size, weight, built quality,OSS,feeling).

I would love to see a test of the two lenses, ceteris paribus.

I never do direct comparison tests, being too impatient for that.Yet I should publish some 24-105/4 pictures soon,to compare with the Sigma 24-70/2.8 output.

A couple shots from the the morning walk today, A7RIV+200-600. I got a shot of the great blue heron's wing tips just touching the water, forming a perfect oval shape with the reflection, but it was a butt shot.

The Lion's Den is a horseshoe-shaped structure with a concrete platform overlooking Plymouth Sound. It was built as a "gentlemen's bathing area" over 100 years ago but has fallen out of use and is now in a state of disrepair. It seems to be used as a party venue on summer nights but in the morning is a peaceful spot right next to the water.
