I posted an image previously from this moment but finally got through editing a full set from the scene. I don't usually put this many images of the same subject but it seems to tell a story.
The momma grizzly (famously known as bear #399) and her 4 cubs were behind this little hill for hours in the morning on the last day of my trip to Yellowstone and Teton National Parks. Finally, all of the cubs came over the hill and were shortly followed by momma's grand entrance. It was great to witness and I'm glad I got to document the moment.

Now that's an appropriate use of a 600mm lens! Great series, can only imagine the thrill of seeing in person!

These are wonderful and thank you for sharing. I got to spend some time shooting Mom and her four cubs this summer. They do tell a great story. Mike
