Night time Infrared
I've always wondered how these infrared shots might look at night. Of course, taking such an image from a boat on the water is near impossible since long exposures are needed. So I processed this image, taken during the mid afternoon, to appear as if it were taken at night. So, yes, this image is more heavily processed using Lightroom and Luminar. Lightroom brushes were used to turn the lights on. Luminar filters were used to create the gloomy, mystical effect. Other spot lighting or darkening brushes were used in other areas as needed.
The Indians will have great trouble keeping people out of Lahaul now the Atal Tunnel is opening in 2020. This kind of view is not even the Himalayas; it's the Pir Panjal Range south of Keylong. A pretty decent view from the bedroom window.
