Thanks! I'm glad my love of documenting these neighborhoods comes across in a positive way.
And, yes, frequently people come up to me, or come out of their homes to ask what is my purpose.
Thanks for giving me the chance to organize and explain my thoughts on my approach to casual architecture and landscape photography.
Thanks for the great explanation.I am impressed with how colorful Aberdeen is. I have interest in your area, as my brother lives north of you on Fidalgo Island, near Anacortes. Be well!

One more image of a local and my favorite falcon - I made sure that this hasn’t been yet posted here... I went back to the site 2 days ago but the falcons were nowhere to be seen but there are tons of yellow spring flowers on the slope now and that would make an interesting background but again, the falcons were missing in action, Oh, well, too bad...
Sorry guys, a bit out of thread... anyone experience a soft images view in Chrome (on Windows OS)?
I just noticed my little angle on this page was not as crisp as the original file so I opened the same pages on Firefox and the result is perfect... and the following image from Joshua is way better
Not a big deal, I can switch to Firefox but if someone has suggestion to fix this small issue it would be very welcome. Thanks.

Hi Manuel,
Your kitty looks sharp to me in Chrome. But since you used f2 for 135mm not very much DOF since you are so close to the kitty's head. I am not sure if things would be any sharper with Firefox.

Manuel, I noticed that there is a degradation from the original JPG on my monitor to the posted image on the same monitor. And yes, It is noticeable alright. With that said, like Rich mentioned to you, your kitty image looks sharp to me but the DOF is shallow.
One of Sakya's silver reliquary chortens. There is no steel and very little metal or even stone in these giant monastic buildings. This image shows the massive engineering of wooden capitals and support beams. Built to last, from the 13th century until today.
