And then again, the Beautiful Lady of Spring overwhelmed my whole land. Again, the light of the Sun shines on my country and everything that is on it. Another, as with countless times, the sky is bright blue, the clouds chase merrilyone another and the fresh green, blue and yellow colours sting my eyes. Cherries, sour cherries, pears, plums and many other trees are covered with a thicket of showy, white blossom. Bright, vivid and vibrant colors call for the world to be reborn again.
Privileged by my job to move freely during pandemic,I have made a few guick grab shots on the way to work and back again.
A mourning dove couple hanging out on the branches of my Red Maple tree. Colorwise, male mourning doves are a bit more vivid and intense. The males' breast regions exhibit some pink coloration, and the highest parts of their heads are also somewhat blue.
Shot hand held at ISO 5000 and cropped. I had some noise but used the Topaz DeNoise AI plug-in and it really does a nice job cleaning it up.

I love your photographs, Helena. You are constantly transforming the ordinary into something very carefully observed and very beautiful. So much golden light in these pictures! I especially like the restaurant from across the street with the puddle in front, the "men at work" sign with the lights, the metal gates, and the two men next to the skiff on the water. But all the others also.
Thank you very much! Means a lot.
More farm stuff from walks around home.
Last two are from 7Artisans 75mm/1.25 and the rest CV 40/1.2 E

Hi Manuel,
Your kitty looks sharp to me in Chrome. But since you used f2 for 135mm not very much DOF since you are so close to the kitty's head. I am not sure if things would be any sharper with Firefox.
Joshua's Falcon is extremely crisp in Chrome.

Manuel, I noticed that there is a degradation from the original JPG on my monitor to the posted image on the same monitor. And yes, It is noticeable alright. With that said, like Rich mentioned to you, your kitty image looks sharp to me but the DOF is shallow.
Thank you Rich, thank you Joshua... for sure that was not the best image to check sharpening in the browser but also other images here appear more soft in Chrome compared to Firefox. I Googled a bit and it seems an issue already noticed by other people... I haven't find a fix for Chrome so I decided to switch to Firefox, at least to follow this thread so my amazement will be even greater

Many are lucky to visit high altitudes elsewhere. But when you live at 4300m it's plenty of warm clothes, sunglasses for glare and hats from Australia. Tibetans are world class hat experts, and they prefer Akubra. Many in our small community buy and send them back home.
