Is this thread about images shot with Sony FE mount, with Sony branded glass, with a Sony camera?
As long as the images are taken with a Sony full frame camera, hence the FE label, regardless of the brand of lenses being used. The lens or lenses used can be native or adapted, manual focus or auto-focus, as long the body used is a full frame Sony E-mount camera, in other words.
Not many use a 55mm for portraits but I love the intimacy you get from the nearness of the subject. And at f3.2-f4 hair is in focus (less LoCA too), and arms are well separated from body and clothing, and context bokeh is intact. Need a small frontal area lens, though, 49mm filters really help.

Thankfully, one of my favorite spots is still open to the public as long as certain stipulations are followed. I needed a break in order to maintain my mental health (not that I had much to begin with!) and so I decided to head on over for a couple of hours. I practiced social distancing, but the ducks in the first shot obviously did not.
