I hiked to my first frozen waterfall on Friday at a nearby state park. I was hoping for cloudy conditions but the sun was still peeking through when I arrived. That's not me in the frame. This couple arrived as I was able to leave and I asked if one of them could pose in the frame. The guy volunteered and I was able to get this shot to show some scale of the frozen waterfall. I have more detailed shots and will work on editing those.
Looking down from the top of the Preserve at trees with leaves in Autumn Color.

Here are a couple shots of the same subject from two angles. Not intended as a scientific comparison, but I find the Loxia 25 and CV 40 have different color and contrast characteristics -- no surprise, I'm sure. The two different camera sensors also play a role in the color, contrast, and fine details. I did not use the same exact PP settings, choosing to simply modify each set to my taste with quick but similar PP.

Manuel: Amazing take on this classic scene.
Thanks Chris! It's almost always like this... a lens is always missing. BTW, great capture and good position for your watermark

Those Italy shots from Joshua, Manuel, and Roberta are just amazing. In the meantime, I have to make do with the birds on my deck. A few from this morning.
Thank you Douglas! Nice consolation anyway with the birds on your deck... great details and very nice warm low light

On the gondola with Sophie Farfalla at the famous Rialto Bridge...
Joshua, this is so perfect that seems unreal... you put Sophie, the Bridge, the Sun (incredible sunstars at f1.8), the bird and the bell tower of the church on the left corner, the crystal water on the foreground... and all this on a gondola moving in the water... I know, you have superpowers
Waiting the train in Vernazza with Roberta, my eye fell on this nice particular
