At the top of the Trexler Nature Preserve, Schnecksville, PA.
One from today's session. Used Sony 85mm f1.8. AD600 in a medium SB as main light and dLite in a stripbox as a fill. Minimal processing.
BTW - I shot using compressed RAW. I just reading that on Sony it is not lossless compression unlike my Fuji? If true, how much I am loosing picture quality wise? I can do a test but wanted to ask.
I just recently updated my Profile Photo on Facebook and decided to post it larger than it had been posted to this thread sometime in 2015.
Photo taken at 5:24 PM.
Looking at a radio collared Doe White Tail Deer and her recently born 4 Fawns.
Cropped, hand held out of my van window with A7r and Leica M 90mm f2.5 Summarit lens.
ISO 400, f2.5, 1/320 second.

In my campground at Big Meadows, Shenandoah National Park, Virginia.
I had spoken to the Rangers about the Doe and the 4 fawns at the time in June and they indicated that it was extremely unusual. The suspicion is that the Doe inherited one or 2 of the Fawns. When I checked back with the Rangers in August, the Doe was still caring for all 4 fawns. I can not recall if that was the case in October.
