Michael(Zhangue)...I didn't realize you still had your A7. Very nice shots. Jack...nice shots with the M Summilux 50!
Here are some more from yesterday with the CV 50 1.5 ASPH...

tjack, that first wild rose shot is outstanding! Spot on exposure & color, with the OOF background all the way to the river suggesting a strong sense of location that provides a feeling of being there. Rock, bark, leaves, water...rich textures surrounding the rose all adding to the sense of place. A story well told!
Hate doing lens test!
My great appreciation to all who went through the hustle of testing lenses side by side. Thank you!
I was going to post this as a part of another FM thread, but it has more to do with A7/R than I thought so I feel it should belong here.
Back in time a bit; I saw Sony A7R as a great way to reduce the bulk of my photo gear.
In the past couple of years anytime I visited FM Zeiss thread I wanted to have all the great Zeiss lenses. It was the same with Leica-R (no M on Nikon) and other few add balls. Well, the A7R came and my gear bag got sooo heavy and so confusing with too many choices that I started to look at Sony RX thread thinking how to end this lens buying madness and keep just few, great lenses to make my photography hobby much simpler.
RF lenses didn’t make it any simpler either! They are small, light, some are great but I ended up with even bigger bag of confusion.
So, if you’re getting into this hobby, start with 1-2 lenses and stick to it for a while! If you’re into it already with number of lenses and longing for Zeiss, Leica or other alt manual focus lenses, get them all… and see which one to keep.
If I had to start with only one lens; Voigtlander Nokton 50/1.5 ASPH LM would be my choice as this lens has a perfect balance of character, sharpness, small size and handling, and again, damn sexy look (in chrome)

Thanks Oldraven, I fixed up the 2nd picture and cropped the sky as it was too blown out, see what you think.
tjack, every change you made to that image works for me (and for a few others as well, it seems). The bokeh here isn't to my liking...but that's another story. Looking forward to seeing more nature work from you.
