An intimate landscape shot from the Great Smokies. The morning light had become a bit harsh so I searched for a scene that included a moss covered rock with a cascade.
Looking right after the sun had dropped below the far hill (but about 9 minutes before actual sunset).
Tripod mounted FE 100-400mm GM set to 303mm and A7rIII, silent shutter.
ISO 100, f11, 1/640 second; exposure corrected +2.14 Stops

Great photos! I would venture to say that these were probably the best photos of the day. The dunes themselves will be there for thousands years to come. While your moments with your friend are already in the past, and will continue to live only through the photos.
