Fine set of images from Iceland, Ronny! We had a nice sunrise few days ago, just drove by a small farm to snap these shots. The Blue Angel shots were from last Saturday's airshow. During the 4-jet diamond formation the closest distance between jets is 18 inches, we don't even drive cars on the ground within that kind of separation. Three weeks ago when they were flying in this formation in a practice, two of the F-18s actually touched each other, nothing serious happened, just needed some paint job. The new Sony 200-600mm is a fine lens for airshows.
Just some quick candids. I'm doing a thing the next few weeks where I'm pretty much solely shooting with a tweaked B&W preset in the JPEGs. These are all with the little FE 50/1.8:
Rebuilt barn in Steamboat Springs, CO. I didn't have the room to back up to this is a stitch so I could get the tiniest rainbow ever in the left corner.
