Has anyone heard from Werner? I haven’t seen a recent post from him.
I haven’t seen Werner’s post for at least several weeks. I do have his email address though. I can send him an email after I have come back from Peru and I am leaving tomorrow.

I too have noticed Werner's absense and wondered if he were OK. Over the years we have lost a number of frequent posters. Haven't seen Seboh (Derek) in sometime either.

Rene (Xing) was absent for a while, glad she is posting again. There is this French gentlemen (Philippe?) who has been missing for a long long time. I don't think I have seen him post since the terror attack in Paris some years ago. Also the gentlemen from California who posted a lot of his handsome son's pictures has been missing for a long time, I think his name is Greg? We are also missing two Swedish friend, Marten(?) and Frank (?).
I guess everyone has different priorities in life. I have posted for almost 3000 times, something is wrong when I spend more time on camera forums than with the wife

Hi Douglas,
This is the way that xwing15- René spells his name, which is supposed to be the masculine spelling; Renée would be the feminine spelling. Philippe unfortunately had much of his equipment stolen and left the site. Yes Greg has been missing for sometime as has CarstonW amongst others.

When paired with an A7R variant, the 100-400GM turns into a very nice "macro" lens! Unfortunately, animal EyeAF let me down this time, guess they haven't programmed it for compound eyes yet
Experimenting with my Zeiss Touit 2.8/12 on my A7R3. I'm thinking about selling it since I don't use it much anymore and wondered how it would work as a 18mm on a full frame.

Hi Rich, Douglas, Joshua
Werner hasn't added anything to his Flickr account since May so perhaps he is travelling. Philippe (Philber) is no longer active here but he is still running his travel photography blog Dear Susan along with his colleague Pascal Jappy.
