I was thinking of selling the Loxia 21mm to get the CV 21mm 3.5 M mount, but then I started using it and nope. changed my mind.
Even wide-open the Loxia is a killer performer Sony A7RIII + Loxia 21mm by Earl Dieta, on Flickr
The flowers were blooming on the two lemon and two orange trees, providing an intense perfume to this courtyard in honor of the California Missions. Bright cloudy skies really helped with this subject.
Did you use any softening effect, or is it just the window pane and the shallow DOF?
Looks like we started the page with the same color palette -- flesh/earth tones, contrasting against spring greens.
Thank you very much, Jim! The slight softening effect was applied only in the lower half, more so in the bottom corners actually. The look of the remaining part of the image was the result of the lens. However, I added very slight contrast adjustment to the model's face but for sure not the greenish part, which was indeed behind the window pane.
Your image of the courtyard at the California Missions is gorgeous - well done with the 2-shot pano!
It's fun to go back through your catalog and revisit images and find an image with potential. This was the case when I revisited this image and liked how the light gently swept across the features of the amazing landscape of Zabriskie Point.

I processed this on my iPad and probably pushed the shadows/sky too much. But it doesn’t show the noise in my iPad. I should know not to trust it.
I was viewing it on a laptop but just tried it on an iPhone too, at the small size initially displayed, the noise is not evident, however if I enlarge the image it becomes visible. These iDevices are quite tricky due to their high pixel density.

St-Nicolas Cathedral in Fribourg, a jewel of Gothic architecture, took two centuries to be built (1283 -1490). Polish painter Jozef Mehoffer designed stained-glass windows in the Art Nouveau style at the beginning of the XXth century.
