Thank you, Chris. I love the Sony 90mm macro. I know the new CV 110mm is better in some aspects, but I want AF for my macro fun, which is mostly walking around taking pictures of flowers at gardens. Here are a few more. The last one was shot with the CV 40mm F1.2.
taken in Canada in January. Quick edit, as I have finally been in an editing mood (only happens a few times a year .
Sony A7rii + CY 35-70. Single shot, ISO 50 and maybe 40mm? Have been told this year was really good for the methane bubbles. Have to say it is super sketchy walking on ice 50 meters from shore when it looks like this lol.
The beautiful Inn and Spa at Loretto in Santa Fe the morning it snowed. I tried to make this one light and airy to emphasize the blanket of snow around the hotel.

Damn, posting directly after Joshua always makes for a humbling experience. Great work my friend. The quail was very cooperative, it seems.
Chris, I am very flattered,,,, thank you! Your cherry blossom image is gorgeous - keep up the excellent work!

Lol this is a perfect "Look at me how pretty I am" pose If I were any good at it, I'd photoshop her a fashion hat and a purse hanging from her left leg

Thank you Helena!I would like to say same about your work.
Being colours and shapes sensitive I have been pondering very often how to show the colourless,harsh-lighted early northern spring beautifully. Now I see this could be perfectly done in your way,as seen above.I am gratefull for inspiring me again Helena!
I have been missing to have tele with pleasing rendering style as tele gives much better composition possibilities. I was afraid that 100-300 will be too slow for my shooting, but I think I'll survive. 300mm needs stopping down, but 100-200mm is good enough wide open, and boke quality does not improve much closing down.
Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* 4.5-5.6/100-300 CY @ f/10.0 & 300mm, 1/15s, Sony A7r mkII @ ISO 100 (at minimum focus distance)
Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* 4.5-5.6/100-300 CY @ f/8.0 & 135mm, 1/13s, Sony A7r mkII @ ISO 100
Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* 4.5-5.6/100-300 CY @ f/5.0 & 200mm, 1/40s, Sony A7r mkII @ ISO 64
Same tree as above, but with normal lens
Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art @ f/1.7, 1/640s, Sony A7 mkII @ ISO 100
