Golden hour at Zabriskie Point. The textures and layers of this place are just unreal. If you look closely, you'll see someone hiking along the ridge on the right side.

Jim, I just acquired a Canon 24-70 f2.8 L II again. Not selling the Sony 24-105 though. The Canon's sunstar is pretty decent for a zoom, a big factor why I bought one again.
A side note, I haven't seen Rene (Xing) post for a while. Hope she is ok.
It does seem that Rene posted less frequently lately -- I think I saw something a week or so ago. Could be the season making it hard to get out, as seems the case for some other "regulars". Looking forward to more work shown.
Regarding Canon 24-70/2.8L II: I make no secret that I find it one of the best wide-tele zooms, and an especially good price now, especially compared to the Sony 24-70/2.8GM. Same goes for a lot of Canon EF "L" glass, and getting better with new RF glass on the horizon. I'm keeping my Sony 24-105/4G, at least for now. I'm curious how the new RF 24-105/4L compares directly against the Sony -- the little I used it on the Canon R, made me quite impressed.
It certainly is a good time to be into photography for consumers!
A favorite old Aberdeen house on Broadway, getting a much needed trim of overgrown trees, shrubs, and other vegetation. Definitely some cosmetic repair needed, and probably some structural too.
New to me is the FE 12-24mm. I think this will be an enjoyable exploration lens. A couple of homes here in West Point, Georgia and then a set from Columbus, Georgia:
