Kim I'm pretty sure. Like most raptors the ladies are bigger than the males and I'd already experienced a bloody fight
between two Giant African Eagle Owls earlier in the trip.....here's one bloodied up male. Watched the fight for 45 min's. And watching the whole show was a female looking for a victor.
