Enjoy your trip, Joshua. Never been on a cruise ship myself. Nagasaki is definitely worth a visit, if you have some time to stroll around the harbor and the city. You certainly picked the right time to come over, as at least in southern Japan the first flowers are starting to bloom and you get to avoid the heat and the humidity.

Thank you very much, Chris! The other two coastal cities we will be visiting are in Southern Japan as well.
While at the Racetrack Playa, I took this image using the tilt function on my Canon 24mm TSE. This was taken as the sun started to dip behind a mountain. Cool place to explore. It's quite a trip to get there but well worth it. We froze our tails later that night as we were shooting some astro.
Just got the Voigtlander 40 f1.2 and doing some test shots around the house. Like the feel of the lens and so far manual focus doesn't feel too onerous, although it takes a little more thinking due to losing the composition.
