A closer shot of the official San Antonio Christmas tree in front of the Alamo. I think I prefer this composition over my previous one since it's not as busy to the eye.

The closest area on higher ground is the hill with the old fences, but if you walk in the opposite direction, towards the valley, you first get to this farm. The red buildings look nice, especially with snow, so I have taken photos there before, but I wanted to try it with Lensbaby Burnside 35 too:
I think it is a perfect subject for your lensbaby too,Helena.Quiet and peacefull scenery covered by snow with vibrantly colored farm buildings, hills and fences.
I like very much to see the places you visit regularly and how they change around the year. All by your exquisite photographs.
My daughter is at that age when she is constantly taking selfies with her friends, but won't even let me point my camera in her direction. I was fortunate to catch her in a cooperative mood one day and snapped off this photo in our living room.

Geoff is right, Mitesh! I haven't seen any images using that lens from you; not here and not on the N&W board either. Do you want to go to Bosque in 5 weeks or so? We will be there.

Sorry guys, I’m just as disappointed as you are . The work/life balance has become more than a little bit skewed towards the work part. Joshua, would love to join you guys in Bosque, but I have to be in FL in the middle of January.
