And . . . I still like the rendering of the Zeiss ZE 25mm f2 lens! Decided to grab a couple quick late afternoon images to remind myself why by trying on the old a7R.

AF is very good. It is not "native fast", but pretty close most of the time.
Once I'm finished travelling, I'll try to put up some examples.

Congrats, Bob. So you managed to get the OK from the better half? Looking forward to your shots with that big boy. I was close to pulling the trigger a couple of times recently, but didn't end up having the balls. I don't like being at f8 wide open with the 1.4x TC on my 500 PF, but the weight and size are extremely difficult to argue with.
