Sometimes I try to capture scene with large DOF, but I usually fail as there are will be contrast and sharpness differences between subject and rest of the scene no matter how much I stop down. I'm way too lazy to do focus stacking.

Great BIF shot, Joshua. Looks like you managed to produce quite a lot of interest in the 600 ii following your switch: Kim, Bob, who's next ?
Bastian: Another stunner. The lightning is just breathtaking.
Peire: Beautiful foliage shots.
Foliage, lots of it with the 100-400 GM at 247mm f7.1.
A few shots from yesterday and today. The rising sun was really red but I wasn't able to capture the true color of the sun without everything else being way way under exposed. I know bracketing may help somewhat, any other suggestions you good folks can suggest? TIA. You all have a good week.

This is a new section near downtown SATX called San Pedro Creek Cultural Park. It offers a nice view of the new Frost Tower. It was a bit windy the morning I took this but the sunrise was nice.
