You're just trying to make me drool! Mine is being shipped tomorrow I believe. BTW - which teleconverter do you use in this combo?
I took 40+ images in that sequence and every single one of them from when it was airborne, until landing and sliding on water, is critcally sharp. FYI, the TC used is Sigma TC-1401. Did you buy it on the B&S board, Bob?

I did, from a really nice guy too. The reason for asking is I saw someone on YouTube showing images from the a9 + MC-11 + Canon 600/4 supposedly with the Sony 1.4x. That would mean putting it between the MC-11 and the A9.
Here’s the link without anything but resulting images. Actually, he used the metabones V.

Ah, great! Yes, you have to use Metabones V to be able to mount any of the Sony FE TC behind the adapter.

This is an image from earlier in the year but has been posted yet. The lens used is a Canon EF 400mm DO Mark II.
Joshua: Sorry for the belated reply and many thanks for the praise a few pages back.
Great pelican landing series on the previous page. The butterfly colony(?) is also a sight to behold. I remember you posting a similar shot a while ago. Nice to get another look at this impressive gathering.
Bob: Here is hoping that you can convince your finance ministry of the necessity of getting the big white lens. I've been contemplating a similar move. It's a pity that Sony refuses to come up with any solid information regarding the a7000 and the second long lens.
Werner: Great use of light and shadow in that monochrome shot.
Bastian: Amazing atmosphere and lightning in that shot. If the mood was slightly gloomier, it would almost look like a Friedrich painting.
Rene: Beautiful mountain panorama. Just curious, shouldn't there be more snow on those peaks, including those in the foreground at this time of the year?
Mike: Stunning above the clouds photography.
Matt: Great series from China. I really like that monochrome shot of the houses and the river.
Fred: Amazing landscape shots from Europe.
Jim: That tree looks mighty impressive. Pretty old, I suppose?

Thanks for the nice comment and your great pictures my friend. The picture is about 2 months old. So taken in the fall. I am always in the process of processing. unfortunately too little time for all my interests
More working with recently acquired Nikon 24-120/4G lens, this time on the original a7R. Turns out that the combination with the Commlite Pro AF adapter doesn't allow the a7R to AF properly. Fortunately, the lens has decent manual focus, once the AF is turned off (lucky!). Impressively sharp in the central area with excellent color and contrast -- very amenable to LR PP.
Subject study of old pioneer house in Simi Valley, CA.
a7R, Nikon 24-120G (manual focused), Commlite Pro, LR CC
