Another one from the walk around the hills in South Wales (UK) - around sunset

Blaencwm is a village in the county borough of Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales, lying at the head the Rhondda Fawr valley. Two collieries were opened here during the Industrial Revolution, the Dunraven Colliery in 1865 and the Glenrhondda Colliery in 1911
Both had closed by 1966 and the sites have since been landscaped, leaving little trace of their industrial past.

Leitz Elmarit R 80-200/4 ROM has arrived lately and paired my lonely L V-E R 35-70/4 ROM.I did not have much time to test it thoroughly, but the results so far are very good/excellent on the A72.It is sharp wide open throuought the range, very sharp and very crisp stopped down 1-2f stops and has nice Leica colours.I have yet to search it on behalf of eventual Leica glow.
Here how it goes in pretty much unfavourable conditions,i.e. wide open, hand held in a gloomy, misty November day on the A72.
HelenaN, you make the frigid look warm and lovely. Beautiful images.

I have now rented the Sony FE 100-400 GM twice and just love it...and I generally HATE zoom lenses and find AF annoying. Instead, on this lens, every focal length is beautifully sharp and has reasonable bokeh for the aperture. The AF performance is staggeringly good, with numerous action shots ones I was convinced that it missed...until I downloaded them and WOW!
Adding this to my wishlist now. Bravo, Sony!!!
Good from small and around MFD all the way to huge subjects and infinity. No cropping on the hummingbird images and little or no cropping on the whales.
