On the way to Bodie, we saw a cow galloping towards us and we noticed that there was a cowboy on a horse behind the cow. As it turned out there were two cowboys that were practicing rounding up cows in a remote area that day. Needless to say we stopped, scrambled, put our gear together and captured the impromptu real wild west actions. What a surprise but pleasant treat and almost forgot about Bodie..... not !
Woefully crap weather out, decided to work a bug I got this summer in the comfort of the studio.
50 shots via Cognysis, Zerene, then PS.
Used the a9, just wasn't in the mood to deal with a7Riii file sizes

Bob -- You are the king of sunrise and sunset shots! Everywhere you travel you manage to capture exceptional shots at these times -- I know how much work that can be!
Thanks so much Jim! These days, it's much easier to get up for a 7:30am sunrise vs mid-June!
I know I don't make many comments here but I have to say, your shots are like a course in photography for me. Inspiring! Unfortunately I am a slow learner and have the patience of a fruit fly. My ND filters and my tripod appear to be on an extended holiday. That has to change. Thank you for your great contributions to this forum!
