From a previous session in Anaheim - I took quite a few images in the 3 hours we worked together...
Great image Joshua! Do you own the 135 Art? How do you like it overall? I'm in limbo between getting the 135 or the 105. Due to the fact that I have the 85GM I'm leaning towards getting a 135 (may wait to see if Sony drops a G Master 135).
I like the look the 135 produces and it will give me something different and unique from the 85.
Excited to see more of your shots from this fantastic lens!

Thank you for your kind words, Brett! Yes, I do and I am an early adopter, too, in other words, mine is Canon EF mount. In the beginning the AF with an older FW of my adapter wasn’t that stellar but I love the rendition. The current FW of both MB and Sigma MC-11 makes the AF performance close to be that of a native lens, including Eye-AF in AF-C.
The transition from my favorite portrait lens, the GM 85mm to the135mm lens is about ideal and for that reason, I decided to stick with the 135mm instead of going to the Sigma 105mm f/1.4. I do have and love the FE 50mm f/1.4 as well that I love and focal length-wise that lens would pair better with the Sigma 105mm. On the other hand, the FE 35mm f/1.4 Zeiss is a perfect match to the GM 85mm f/1.4. I am a lens hoarder, what can I say.
I am working on a few images taken with that Sigma lens, I will post them before too long here. Thanks again for your comment!

a7r3, would be great to meet up for a pint and a few photos.
Where do you normally shoot.
Around Central London really, but it all depends... I was in Richmond Park last Saturday. Probably will revisit again for the rutting season. But apparently there has been a cull (numbers are down dramatically). Maybe I was wrong but who knows.
I had to make a choice between an affordable used fast 24mm f/1.4 lens (Sigma 24/1.4 Art), or a more expensive new lens (new Sony 24/1.4GM). While I would love the to pre-order the new Sony (and might ultimately buy the Sony), I opted for the Sigma.
I bought a nice copy of the Sigma Art on the B&S here. Thanks to Jon (dnuke25) for the great deal and fast shipping. It arrived late yesterday afternoon.
Here a couple quick shots on the a7R2 via MC-11. I'm surprised how well the lens does wide open, considering the difference in DOF it is not far off the f/11 version where slight reduction in contrast and sharpness becomes slightly noticeable from diffraction. PP has been done in LR, but same settings except for exposure adjustment. It looks like it will perform best at mid apertures from f/4.0 to f/8.0.
Read that there have been problems to " like " pictures recently
I have a problem now ... If I close the browser or close FM site I can not like the pictures, if I log out and log in again at the forum, it works again
Anyone else who has the same problem?
I works then i edit my post here again
it's weird.. I then shut down the FM site and then open it again, it will not work again .. but then I edit my posts and it will work again
