Whale watching on Monterey Bay. A juvenile humpback kept us entertained smacking the water with its tail and generally doing everything except swim next to its mother. It even stopped to pose for a portrait.

I had the great honor of being a guardian for a World War II veteran on an honor flight this weekend. It was one of the most memorable experiences that I've had and being a veteran myself, I'm very glad to have had the opportunity.
