This thread is still going strong. I used a lot of likes, while catching up.
Joshua, Bob (nice to see old class being put too good use, contrast might be slightly subdued compared to modern glass, but there is something to that old Sonnar's rendition), Rene, Jim, Douglas, Ronny, Helena, Philip, nampramos (impressive night sky shot on the previous page; did you use a track for that?) and everyone I've forgotten, great work on those last few pages.
Thank you very much, Chris! An excellent image from Hokkaido and I would like to see more from that region. I was there in the winter and yes, it was cold but basically deserted, more to my liking .
Civita di Bagnoregio
It’s a dying city founded 2500 year ago by The Etruscans. Erosion caused by water all around the city is the cause of its isolation.
There are only 16 people residents, mainly running small restaurants.
A truly romantic and beautiful jewel in the center of Italy!

From a fairly recent session...
Beautiful portrait, Joshua. Quite fairy-like. Great use of the fat 85.
Werner, Ryan: Beautiful monochrome shots on this page.
Rene: Thanks. When I first looked at your shot on top of this page, I thought I was looking at a picture taken in Vietnam, but upon closer inspection the upper part does look very much like Europe . Beautiful shot for sure. The dirt/wood in the middle of the lake does add quite a bit to that picture (in a positive way). Those shots from France have a nice film like look to them, btw.
Peire: I love that first shot of the elaborate ceiling paintings. Nice job with the new toy.
Jim: Just curious, did you take this shot in the yard in front of some sculptor's home?
Thank you for the praise, Jim and Joshua. Most of the lanscape shots that I've posted in this thread recently were taken around the island. Here is another one from last month, again with the Loxia 21. I too prefer the winter, fewer tourists and bears to worry about. However, the blizzards can be a pain sometimes.
A few samples from a photoshoot for a client who contracted me to capture some photos of the renovation work on four medical buildings. These are interior shot samples from 2 of the buildings.
Mix of Batis 18 (before the dreaded AF motor issue popped up) and the FE 16-35 GM

Thanks Chris! Beautiful color on this shot of yours.
That sasquatch picture is in the surrounding yard area of a friends cabin (almost a chalet!) in the woods I frequently photograph in the Cispus Valley, in the general area of Mt. Rainier. No, he's not a sculptor, but a commercial painter of buildings. He is very creative though and makes and collects unusual and playful types of items (old overgrown car, bottle tree, etc.). He is very much the woodsman on his property, cutting down trees to saw into lumber by himself. His wife also collects craft art and "found" items to display around their property. Good sense of humor!

digital_AM: Care to share your thoughts on Batis 18 and FE 16-35 GM? Curious as to why you have both and how you differentiate use... Thanks in advance.
