how does such a combination of pictures of landscape feel like ?
Ronny -- You have so many great shots, I don't know how you would choose!
I liked the one recently you did, looking over the rim into a basalt column lined bowl with waterfall. And didn't you have one of the tall veiled fall from a few years ago -- (at least I think it was yours), maybe it was shot from behind/side? And I recall a nice angled beach with rippled sand, rocks, with peaks in distance.
Congrats on the exhibition!

I too noticed the text got "cooked" in some overnight update. I contacted Fred and he's tried to walk me through to fix with no change. I don't think it's my computer -- using Edge, but it shows same in Chrome on Win 10 machine.

Quite recently I've stumbled across Robert O'Toole's blog posts about Nikon Scanner lenses and was very impressed with his reviews of exotic lenses for macro photography.
So I butchered my Nikon LS-40 Coolscan to retrieve its highly corrected (i.e. APO, flat field, no distortion) Scanner Nikkor (7 Elements) lens in order to find out how it will perform on a Sony A7 full frame camera.
The following pictures are my first attempts with an improvised setup at 1.5x magnification. It shows the mainboard of the lenses former home. The electronic components look to me like aerial views of housing blocks, gas tanks, water tanks etc.
All with Sony A7 and Scanner Nikkor (7 elements) lens, uncropped, no CA correction, no vignetting correction.
You will find more information about scanner lenses, their history and their use in macrophotograpy on the websites of Robert O'Toole, Marco Cavina and Enrico Savazzi.
Thanks Jim and Mike.. half of the pictures here are certain .. we'll see .. I'll probably change some pictures
I could have chosen more calmer pictures in b/w.. but I want the wall to stand out in colors and in editing .. is my style to add some extra to the controls in LR
Some like it .. and some don't

Yup, crazy text for me too. On Chrome and Safari. Kinda aggravating.
Personally, I’d take my “Best” and go bigger with it. They’re all excellent, but I think I’d emphasize a few, bring the viewers to the wall, then let them appreciate all the rest. It’s like an image, with a bunch of small images there’s no focal point.

No time to shoot film these days, so I took out the A7ii and Contax C/Y 180mm f/2.8 for a little stroll today. Film is fun, but digital is definitely nice.
From Mesquite sand dune in Death Valley last March. Sony A7R2 + Contax 80-200mm. dunno what focal length sadly Going to fix this hopefully
Hope to head back to Death Valley this winter. Can deal with cold temps much better than hot and no shade. Plus softer light means I can shoot more of the day
