Don't really know how the picture on Nitro looks ?
On my Dell up3216q it looks good
but on my old screen benq 23 it looks really bad
Nitro looks just fine and the image is sharp with pleasing colors.

I took plenty images of macaws while in Costa Rica and they are actually attractive and have vibrant colors. But I barely post any images here. The reason behind that is probably because they are common, almost reaching the proverb of "a dime, a dozen". Oh, well, here is a portrait of a red macaw in a "studio" then...

To be honest, I was rather surprised too! I don't use it often, and normally it's been for tight closeups of small flowers. I'm always looking for "different", so I decided to try it at a longer distance for a broader view, and it does have beautiful bokeh. I'll post more examples soon.

Few more from today. Almost had a nice sunset but then the clouds moved in. You all know the drill....
Beautiful images, Stephen. I'm especially fond of the Jones Knob/Whiterock images. That's one of the finest sections of the Bartram Trail and long a favorite of mine. Wish that I was out shooting with you instead of in this dark office.

Thanks for your kind words. Good sunrise spots near Highlands are pretty easy to find. Good sunset spots are fewer--at least to my knowledge. I want to go back to Jones Knob more at sunset as eventually the light will be good.
We should get together and shoot sometime. I am frequently up on the Highlands area on the weekends or occasionally for a week or (leaf season, Xmas, July 4). Send me a PM if you want to shoot sometime.

Ronny and Werner -- I don't know how you keep pulling Icelandic rabbits out of your hat! Great shots!
Joshua -- I love that early twilight shot with stars -- amazing treasures from Bromo.
Danny -- I'm so glad to see your 180L Macro in action. I never knew it was so beautiful in its OOF areas.
Alfredo -- Fantastic captures on the mission -- especially this sun bursting through the tower opening. I've been up on scissors lifts and cherry pickers, so I know how challenging they can be to maneuver precisely. Plus you are fighting against motion blur. Bravo to you on this series!
Rene, Douglas, and Jordan -- Terrific shots, as always!
