Kevin, really like the tones of this image! The light under the bridge is special.
Here is one taken from my last trip to Washington. Been shooting at 5.6 on my lenses lately, so that means more images to paint in on my Wacom for blending. This one was 8

Another view from Bromo; bright and sunny on the eastern part but very foggy on the western part early in the morning...
Beautiful picture, Joshua. I remembered heading there at 4 in the morning and it was very cold. I think the area is called Pananjakan. Lots of charming village nearby. What brings you to Bromo?
This image is literally from the first shoot I did with my new light weight A6000 kit I took to Italy to save weight. My Wife and I dashed into Rome from the airport during a short layover before connecting to our flight to Sardinia.
Three shot exposure blend. Even used the kit lens for this shoot. I am loving mirrorless, and Sony so far!

Thank you, frezeiss! They, the guide and the driver, picked us up at 2:00AM from the hotel. They were there, waiting when we walked up to the parking area. Penanjakan is a little bit higher and we did go to that on the second morning. What brought me there is the view and what a view it was there! I spent 2 grueling, photography-packed days there and very much sleep-deprived, since we did some astro photography until about 11:00. I slept only 2-3 hours each night while there plus all the climbing up and down. The results were rewarding though
Well, since it is an image thread... here is another one from Bromo and this one is from Penanjakan, a little higher and slightly to the west. This is from the second morning with significantly less fog. King Kong hill is visible as the slope on the right. Our position on the first morning though is higher than the crowd visible there near the white mark.
CY 21/2.8 on a7r, f8 - this is the bottom of a glacier in summer. Nice place, the sharp edges have been ground off, rock fragments are bad news in a big wind though. Lahaul, India.

Nitro looks just fine and the image is sharp with pleasing colors.

I took plenty images of macaws while in Costa Rica and they are actually attractive and have vibrant colors. But I barely post any images here. The reason behind that is probably because they are common, almost reaching the proverb of "a dime, a dozen". Oh, well, here is a portrait of a red macaw in a "studio" then...
Doesn't matter how common.Shapely specimen always looks great if skillfully shown Like this ara - a real work of art of the animal world.
Parrots are my favourite "foreign" birds.Go on with publishing Joshua!
This is a companion to my earlier post of this shed in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, photographed from the opposite side. We had nice clouds most of the week, happily for infrared shooting, although this is just a conversion from a normal color original. A7RIII; Zeiss Distagon 15/2.8 ZE.
