I managed to line up the rising fun with an opening in the tower of Mission San Jose. I had an experienced lift operator who got me in the right position as I chased the elusive sun star.
My friend does fire tricks so we went out and had some fun. She also cleaned my teeth in return for photos (dental hygienist) which worked out well. These are a pain to edit, #4 I probably need to reedit, tried to make it look comic bookish. But this was a ton of fun and I have WAAAAYYY more photos. For her birthday I'm going to turn the shoot into a comic-book cover (b/c she loves comics : ).

A7II Planar 50/1.4.
Austin -- Extremely striking series of your lady with fire juggling! Looking forward to a few of your alternate shots.
*************************
Ronny and Werner -- I don't know how you keep pulling Icelandic rabbits out of your hat! Great shots!
Joshua -- I love that early twilight shot with stars -- amazing treasures from Bromo.
Danny -- I'm so glad to see your 180L Macro in action. I never knew it was so beautiful in its OOF areas.
Alfredo -- Fantastic captures on the mission -- especially this sun bursting through the tower opening. I've been up on scissors lifts and cherry pickers, so I know how challenging they can be to maneuver precisely. Plus you are fighting against motion blur. Bravo to you on this series!
Rene, Douglas, and Jordan -- Terrific shots, as always!
