I tried the tilt feature on this scene from my lens but it didn't quite look right so I edited the normal version. Glad I took a few with no tilt. That shiny glass building with the cranes is the new Frost Bank Tower going up here in SATX. It's quite an addition to our skyline.
It was a hot weekend (+32C) so we went on another little trip out to the Atlantic, this time by car. These trips are not about photography, so I can't wait around for better light.
Those who have traveled in Norway this summer and had interesting light are so lucky. On all our little trips it has been glaring sunshine (and a couple of days with a dull thin layer of white clouds). So tired of the sun and heat!
The last is from C/Y 50/1.7 and the rest C/Y 28/2.8.

I was quite lucky then. At times I felt we had too many clouds but then those led to some really nice light.
Trying out a Nikon 24-85G lens on Commlite Pro AF adapter, with mixed results. I've had to change the mounting plates (thickness), front and back, to get it to focus. Still not correct distance, leading to weird curvature of field. I'm getting pictures, although the imaging is challenging and sort of "novelty". More testing. . .
A7R2 and my Contax 35-70. Really need to find a better way to try to keep track of my focal lengths - and which lenses I have used for what photos. Google Docs is just not cutting it.
