More testing of the Loxia 85mm and 26mm of extension tubes. A real macro would work better I am sure, but for the amount I shoot macros this works just fine.
After a near year hiatus from digital, I finally brought out the a7ii again on recent trips to Colorado and Ontario along with my two favorite lenses, CY 28mm f2.8 (first four photos) and the ZM Sonnar 50mm (last three photos). Oh how I missed this thread.
Here is an image taken near Mount Bromo NP on the way back after spending two days of grueling photography adventures there. Due to the elevation, there are quite a bit of hanging clouds in the area.
This thread is moving so fast! I saw the sun peaking through the clouds after a big thunderstorm last evening, decided to take my chance and go to the reservoir. The sunset was not disappointing. I was standing on the dam, there is no foreground to speak of, but I liked the drama in the sky.
Absolutely superb photo!
I love the scenery, with the moving train and the persons as well, and shooting B&W makes
all the important things about this pictures come out even better.
Great work!
I posted the A7R3 shots from the other day down the beach, now some A9 photos. A few bird photos to start. All taken with the 100-400GM + 1.4x TC combo
This is just a three shot monatge, something to make a seagull more interesting
Some surfing shots fro the A9. Alas no really good aerial manoeuvres. 560mm was still too short, as these are fairly heavy crops, so can't wait for the 200-600.
Wanted to post this picture in higher resolution
If it gets too big and the page gets stuck, I'll post it in smaller resolution
but we will soon change the page again .. just post on
