Trying to get the hang of the Loxia 85... Initially I didn't like it at all since the bokeh is kind of ugly at a few meters distance, but for closeups and/or if you stop down to f/3.2 or more, it's extremely good.
All nighter visiting some lighthouses on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan. Beautiful evening at Little Sable Point Lighthouse. Taken on the 7r2 and my new Loxia 21. This is still a work in progress, and will be revised very soon.
Taken with A7 and SMC Pentax-85mm f2 plus Heliopan Achromatic Close-Up Lens 4/250 (82mm) reversed @ f2, f4 and f2.8.
The Heliopan Achromatic Close-Up Lens somehow defeats the purpose as a hiking setup because it weighs more than 400 grams…
One afternoon at Sleeping Bear Dunes was perfect for forest shooting, with soft light and on-off drizzle. The ferns were fresh and greens were richly saturated, and wind was minimal. Mosquitoes, however, were at full power! A7RIII, Loxia 21mm.
Boy, things happen fast on this thread!! Lots of great images.
bellapete, If I recognize your image, I took this picture a few years ago using the A7R, in the same location (in Paris).

That's correct ! Location is the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris. The fountain in the foreground of your photo is the Stravinsky fountain just nearby.
