Raven's head. Unfortunately found it after someone had already moved it from its original spot, so moved it around to interesting locations and got some photos.
Great shot, Bob ! It's so different compared to winter....
Thx's my friends... if i see your Iceland schots i feel i HAVE to go there back, it make you an addict.... maybe we should meet there ??

I spent a good part of the morning today evaluating the new FW of the A9, combined with the recently updated MC-11 using my Canon 400mm f//2.8 Mark II lenses. This is the location of a family of peregrine falcons.
I got lucky to be able to capture this using the Zone AF that now works splendidly. I have to say that I am pleased with the results and it would be hard for the new GM 400mm to improve the optical quality of this Canon lens. AF-wise it may have the edge over this setup right now since it is a flagship native FE lens. It would be a tough call to make in 2.5 months from now..... More evaluation needed, for sure.

I have been revisiting my files reprocessed from one of my recent trips to Spain
Shots here with ZA 135/1.8 and A7rII. I cross posted some of these shots within the ZA 135 thread

A7rII and Batis 25 in point and shoot mode as no cameras were allowed
Charles that last image really shows the impact of camera phones on photography. I think I count 8 people looking at their phones, most likely reviewing images.
Not often I photograph the homeless but this woman expression struck me and I found it to be reminiscent of some of the faces you see in Dorothea Lange's photography form the depression years in the USA
This lens does not get nearly enough use, as I tend to prefer 35mm over 28mm for how I shoot, but when I look back through images that I have taken with it, I just love them. Great colors, especially in the purples and pastel blue range.
