I found this composition of Mission Concepcion after wrapping up my photo shoot. Appears to be a good spot for sunrise or sunset depending on the clouds and the intensity of color.
This is the resplendent quetzal, the most beautiful bird in Central and South America. After taking several insurance shots from further away, at higher ISO, and higher shutter speed, I moved in closer and closer until this location, then I lowered the shutter speed and ISO setting to get the best out of this opportunity. I added more reach by combing the 1.4X TC in the front and the Sony 2X TC in the rear of the Metabones V. Phew, luckily this male quetzal did not fly away from its perch and kept on posing for me. I am counting my blessings....
The Vestrahorn. This was the number one spot on my list as well as my friends. As we approached this site, we were like two giddy kids at Christmas time waiting to open our gifts.

Bob, you opened a wonderful early Christmas present!
Here are few from the skyline in Guangzhou, China where I have been the last few weeks. These are from what is called in English the New Town area. It is hopping with night life and has some pretty cool new architecture.
Phillip, looks like your FE28 renders quite OK "all sharp" landscape kind of photos. The copy I tried didn't do landscapes nearly as good and all medium distance boke photos were identically awful like yours.

It is certainly no Loxia 2.4/25 but for most purposes it works quite allright. I would call it a good compromise lens. When I took the medium distance shot I thought that this was a typical Samuli shot but I was of course aware that the FE 2/28 wouldn't earn your approval .
