Thanks to all of the spectacular images in this thread, I just ordered an a7Riii. I someday hope to produce at the same level as you all! Now I just need that Iceland trip to hurry up...
Hi all. I just returned from a week in Iceland . . . my first trip there. Lot's of images to sort through but I'll start with a sampling of scenes from Seljalandfoss during sunset at around 11:30 pm. All of these were taken with the Voigtlander 15/4.5 III.
Looking down at the courtroom from a second floor balcony. I took this shot just to get that unique perspective for fun. I know that with a tilt-shift lens, I could have captured the scene with perfect verticals but that wasn't the intent here. Yes, the judge's chair is not quite centered. I wish I would have caught that mistake in the field.
I went to Suzhou which is about an hour outside of Shanghai this week. It is a lovely city if you are ever in the area. These shots are from the Humble Administrator's Garden, which is a UNESCO World Heritage sight. A wonderful and lovely garden (although very crowded). Most are with the Zeiss Loxia 85 f/2.4. I love this lens, but does someone have a recommendation for a close up lens for it. I could have used one on this trip.
