No, it is in fact, a severe crop. I did however, use a tripod and set the ISO to 100. I am slowly changing my ways. Before Tuscany I never used a tripod or bothered with ISO. Even an old dog can learn new tricks.
I was there last week. Twice. There was absolutely no way of getting this shot without a million people in it.
Timing is everything, I guess. I was there in March and it was practically deserted; I believe I saw only 2-3 people there. That’s probably another reason not to go to Iceland in the summer .
Love to see a 4x5 crop including those rolling hills below / in front of the house! Look like they have great light on them.
