Missed this shot, found it while posting a B&S ad and rather liked it, thought I'd post it with a couple others. . Full Spectrum A7R. I'm struggling to remember which lens was used... I think Contax G's?
Thank you, Nadim! You didn't have much luck with the weather over there in Iceland, huh? That's rather disappointing....

Here are 3 frames out of 16 of a falcon taking off and flying diagonally closer to me at a high speed. Phew, my setup can put up with that... fortunately. I posted the last frame of the entire falcon previously but the actual 6 frames after that showed more rocks than falcon and I wouldn't even bother.
FYI, the grayish/light background are waves crashing on the rock below and the darker areas are rocks.

Wow. Beautiful falcon! Where was this?
The weather in Iceland was not too bad. It was grey and overcast the entire week, but only rained on the last day. It could have been worse.
The goods news is I liked it so much there that I'm trying to go back in September.
Thank you, Nadim! That was in San Pedro near the lighthouse at Point Fermin from last Saturday.
My first Iceland trip was in October. That month is considered the second best month to see the Northern Lights; March is the best. Well, of course it has to do more with luck but statistically, those are the best 2 months where you increase your chance of getting lucky. We were there in October and March because of that and both times we got lucky. Just FYI, of course.
Another small set from Iceland. Random Icelandic horses.
More to come (the better stuff!)
I'm planning to go back in September, after tourist season has tapered off, but before it gets too cold and wintery. I have the whole north and east of the island to explore still.
I made the mistake of booking in Reykjavik for the whole week, which limited how far I could go in a day. Not this next time!
^^ Ronny, either that girl is petitte or that guy is tall... or maybe both . But for sure, she is lovely and you did well photographing her/him. Was that during a graduation/prom-type event?
