And not a very good picture but a rare thing, Orion constellation from Boulevard Montparnasse, inside Paris. The sky was transparent, extremely clear, and light pollution was amazingly low.
Longer exposition was difficult in city environment, and anyway, I hadn't my tripod with me.
I have some shoots with the nebula, took with high iso, but they are more blurred.
I'm waiting for Two new FD lenses, a 50 1.4 and a 200 F4 macro. I will take back one equatorial mount from my country house and I hope be able to test astrophoto from my balcony in Paris. There is perhaps something to do with good gear.
Yesterday, I tried the A7r on a Sun special telescope, the Coronado PST, which have a very special alpha wave filter, able to show protuberances and surface details. It is not good yet, I need rings and adapters. But if I do something pleasant, I will publish it here
Apologize again for my weak English.

Also Phillip, a page or two back think I just saw a first portrait image from you followed with some BWs which I really liked. This is something new from you :-)
You don't mean me, do you? Because I didn't post any portraits
The center of Cittadella does not evoke the ancient urban magnificence of other small towns in Veneto region, missing the Venetian palaces of prestige, perhaps because can not be strictly accessible by river and then by ship, along the river Brenta which was Venetian merchants preferred way of communication during their occupation in north east mainland.
