I hope you'll get a good copy of the 55 1.8 and like it. Be sure to post some pictures, once you have gotten hold of it.
Well, the new Sigma 50 1.4 Art is a new designed lens that is apparently superior to most other 50mm's on the market with the exception of the Otus and I'd guess, the Cron 50 AA. However, the Sigma is just a brick, not as heavy and large as the Otus, but still not your typical walk-around lens.
Firstly thank you for all of the knowledge and inspiration I've found since I started reading the FM boards. It was a fun search for a camera that would suit me and my only manual focus, mostly medium format lenses. Funnily enough when it came down to the choosing there really was no choice at all.

Love your pics, especially the one with the dramatic lens flare. Your comment made me laugh because I decided this weekend to use only my sharpest, highest micro-contrast, most technically perfect lenses.
ha, i went to santa rosa for the weekend and only used my jupiter-3 and newly acquired jupiter-9 (also no internet/computer).
a few more with the jupiter-9 wide open now:
and one stopped down:
also that flare shot with the jupiter-3 stopped down instead of wide open, first time i've tried bulb mode on the a7:

I recommend Replichrome as well! I picked up both Replichrome and a few VSCO film packs over the weekend and I highly recommend them both. Especially Replichrome for the price. Both have awesome films emulation. I'm having a blast revisiting some of my older photos with them.
Just a first try to get myself accustomed to this body (coming from a 6D). Taken with A7R and Zeiss 2/35 ZE and 10-stop filter. Looking forward to giving this body a proper break-in at Death Valley in a few weeks!
I've missed a few days and surfed through the last pages, much inspiration as usual.
I have to say Jako, browsing through quick as I did now your images are instantly recognizable, I really enjoy your shooting and PP style. You really have a nice style not very depending on subject. That I really like.
Also Phillip, a page or two back think I just saw a first portrait image from you followed with some BWs which I really liked. This is something new from you :-)
Need to go now but overall the standard showing up on the last pages there are many examples images as good as they come.
Jack. I was in a crowded Plaza of an ancient medieval town in Italy during a spring flowers and plants festival-market
I own the same lens of Yours but 25mm, very good, here far above a sample
Thanks for clearing that up Roxsan and looks like a nice place and a fun time..
Heres one with the Samyang 14mm, this thing is sharp as can be and distortion can be kept down with the in camera leveler turned on and a tripod used.
