There's another thread on this Sony forum about people migrating from Canon to Sony, on which one poster indicated he preferred the color of the Canons.
Personally, for my types of shooting, this first "gingerbread house" photo is a perfect example of how I usually prefer Sony with Loxia lenses (with LR PP) to provide the exact type of color and detail I desire. Naturally, I have to make sure the lighting is the direction and color I want, but I've never had such success with any other camera/lens combo, including film.
This is despite my dislike of the Sony body style, ergonomics, controls/buttons, and menu/interface. But all those concerns fall to the wayside if the equipment produces the shot I want!

Another image from Bromo - in addition to the numerous 4X4 vehicles, horses are used for transportation in that area. This horse rider, while carrying an Indonesian flag, was kicking up some dust that morning.... Just for fun and for us to take pictures, of course .

Hehe, ok Bob. I was waiting out a hawk....very bored sitting and sitting. But two Carpenter bees were zipping around in the area. Thought I'd try the a9's AF-C, put it into Wide for all the AF points possible and walla Bee wasn't far, less than 10 feet.
