One from Wednesday morning in Newport Rhode Island at the Castle Hill Lighthouse. Two images blended in PS one was just to get the moon's exposure correct and the second was the overall scene. This shot was taken a little before sunrise as the 94% Waning Moon was setting. Such a beautiful morning on the mouth of the Newport Harbor entrance between Jamestown, Island and Newport, Rhode Island.
A7RIII with 16-35 GM plus Lee Foundation 100mm CPL
Testing the Laowa 15mm f/2.0 for interiors although its main purpose is more for astro. I believe the aperture was f/5.6 but enough to render a sun star of a light source 😋. Yes, I am keeping the lens for the main purpose.

Thanks Chuck! Haven't really had much chance to use the 12-24 yet. Will find time to try the wide end for some architecture interior shots in Washington DC (The Library of Congress, National Cathedral, Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception). I had the CV 10mm and 12mm before so I am not entirely new to the 12mm view. Love the flexibility of the zoom!

Beautiful lighthouse with the moon, Chuck. I actually study this particular lighthouse a bit for photographic purpose when I was planing to go up to Rhode Island for an airshow several years ago but ended up not making the trip. Here is a local lighthouse and moon, nothing like what you got.

Yes, I go through phases and suddenly I got the urge to use my Contax lenses again. Glad I decided to keep them.
Wanted to bring them to Stockholm too last week. However, we used to live there before moving to Norway and usually visit at least once a year, so I thought it was a good opportunity to give the Lensbaby Burnside 35 a real work-out (since I can take new photos the next time if it didn't work out). I don't really regret it, but doubt that I'll do it again, at least not as the only lens.
